FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:  How are the tiles and murals made?

Answer: A water slide decal comprised of ceramic inks is decorated on wall tile or sinks and kiln fired in excess of 1400 degrees.Ceramic inks are comprised of pulverized glass. Heat pressed sublimation is NOT a process used with ANY Mouse in Cupboard products.

Question:  How durable are these tiles?

Answer5:   The tile are guaranteed not to fade or scratch for a lifetime.

Question:  Can the tiles withstand heat, direct sunlight,and outdoor application?

Answer:    YES the tiles can be grouted into place for:

                           Instalation over existing tile work using waterproof adhesive

                         Fireplace facades

                         Outdoors, keep water from getting into grout line if freezing is going to occur

                         Tabletops, bar tops, furniture inlays, back splashes, showers, trivets,etc. Note: it is not recommended that the murals be installed on floors as the murals and single tiles are decorated WALL tiles

QUESTION:	Will the pattern ever fade or wear off, or otherwise depreciate?
ANSWER:	The decoration is on for the life of the fixture. We do recommend, as do all other manufacturers, that porcelain fixtures not be cleaned with abrasive cleansers, as this will damage the glaze over time.

QUESTION: Is it possible to reglaze a used fixture?

ANSWER: No, our process does not enable us to reglaze an existing colour or change to another colour.

 
QUESTION: Can an existing fixture, or used fixture, be decorated (i.e. antique sinks)?

 ANSWER: No.

QUESTION: How long will it take from time or ordering?

ANSWER: We generally have orders ready to ship within 2 weeks of receiving confirmation of your order, and prepayment of same. 

QUESTION: How long will it take from time or ordering?

ANSWER: No. We can in some instances decorate on toilet tank lids and unlined toilet tanks, but not bowls or bidets. The foam insulation in lined tanks burns off during the firing. If a lined tank is necessary, we suggest that your plumber install a liner kit at the time of installation.
